With a short growing season, farm fresh apples can be slim pickings in the Seven Cities, so we've included one (amazing) spot in Charlottesville.

Cullipher Farm is located deep in the heart of Southern Virginia Beach on the fertile Pungo Ridge. In addition to u-pick apples & pumpkins in the fall, they offer u-pick strawberries & blueberries in the spring. They also have a kid's play area & wagon rides.

Located on Knott's Island & overlooking beautiful Knott's Island Bay, Martin Farm & Winery offers a selection of wine, craft beer, light snacks, and fresh produce for a day trip destination & get-away. In addition to apples, grapes, and pumpkins in the fall, they offer strawberries and peaches for picking in the spring & summer.

With a country store & bakery, a mountain-top grill, local beer & hard ciders, apple cider donuts, and, of course, apples for picking, your family will certainly make life-long memories here!
